Parc zoologique Val d'Hérault nature

Parc zoologique Val d'Hérault nature is a wildlife park built on former vineyard land in Saint-Thibéry that displays animals in habitats designed to resemble their natural surroundings. Pathways wind through the grounds, connecting areas where visitors can observe creatures from different regions and climates.

The park began operations in 2014 on land that previously served as a wine-producing estate in the region. It functioned for several years before closure in 2020.

The park conducted educational programs about wildlife conservation and offered interactive experiences through animal feeding sessions and guided presentations.

The site was designed to welcome visitors with various needs, offering level pathways and facilities throughout the grounds. Plan to walk at a leisurely pace through different areas to see all the displays.

The park maintained the only pair of Siberian cranes viewable in Europe and featured giant aviaries where visitors could observe birds in free flight.
