Frac Lorraine, Contemporary art center in Metz, France
Frac Lorraine is an art center housed in a 12th-century stone building that displays contemporary works across multiple floors. The exhibitions rotate regularly to present new pieces and different perspectives on current artistic practice.
The site was founded in 1984 as a French Ministry of Culture initiative to support contemporary art in the region. In 2004, it relocated to Hotel Saint-Livier to gain larger exhibition spaces.
