Téléo, Urban aerial tramway in Toulouse, France
Téléo connects three major locations across three kilometers, spanning the Garonne River and the Pech David hill through five support pylons.
The aerial tramway system began operations in May 2022, marking the introduction of France's longest urban cable car transportation system.
The transport infrastructure links Paul Sabatier University, Rangueil Hospital, and Oncopole Institute, serving areas with 85,000 jobs in southern Toulouse.
The cable car system operates from 5:15 AM to midnight, with cabins arriving every 90 seconds during peak hours to transport 1,500 passengers per hour.
The tricable technology, known as 3S, uses two carrier cables and one traction cable, allowing operation in winds and reducing ground infrastructure requirements.

Very convenient, easy to take. Parking is free when validating the return ticket. It drops us off at Rangueil Hospital opposite the main entrance. An interesting transportation.
