Château de Coarraze

Château de Coarraze is a castle near Pau featuring a strong 14th-century tower as its oldest component. The main building was redesigned in the 18th century following Italian taste and sits within landscaped gardens and open grounds.

The castle was rebuilt in 1755 after fires in 1508 and 1684 caused significant damage. It once served as a residence for the family of future King Henry IV of Béarn.
