The Château de Kéralio stands north of Plouguiel, displaying medieval architecture with a main tower and fortified walls from the fifteenth century.
In 1497, Duchess Anne of Brittany granted permission to Master Roland Scliczon to fortify this manor, establishing it as a central domain in the region.
The castle features ornate stone carvings depicting Saint Yves, Saint Gonery, and Saint Tugdual, representing important religious figures of Brittany.
The castle obtained recognition as a registered historic monument on March 22, 1930, and remains under private ownership of the Roquefeuil-Montpeyroux family.
The sepulchral chapel contains a distinctive ogival door decorated with embedded pinnacles and stone frames, demonstrating medieval craftsmanship.
