The Docteur Pierre pharmaceutical factory features red brick walls, stone elements, and ceramic decorations across its industrial architecture from the early 1900s.
Founded in 1837 by Doctor Pierre Mussot, the factory initially operated in Asnieres-sur-Seine before relocating to Nanterre due to railway access advantages.
The factory produced dental care products and peppermint alcohol, marking the emergence of French industrial pharmaceutical manufacturing in the 20th century.
Located at 18 Avenue du General-Gallieni in Nanterre, the building now houses startup offices following a 2017 renovation project.
The facility includes a 1000-square-meter permaculture garden, established on the former peppermint cultivation grounds used for production ingredients.
