The Usine pharmaceutique du Docteur Pierre is an industrial building from the early 1900s with red brick walls, stone elements, and ceramic decorations throughout its design. The factory was founded in 1837 by Doctor Pierre Mussot and started in Asnieres-sur-Seine before moving to Nanterre for better rail access. This relocation in the 1800s shows how industrial operations shifted locations to benefit from developing transportation networks.

The factory produced dental care products and peppermint alcohol, showing how French pharmacists created practical remedies from plants during this era. The link between growing ingredients on-site and manufacturing made this a working example of integrated craft production.
