Château de la Grènerie, Medieval castle in Salon-la-Tour, France
The castle features four corner towers and walls constructed with rubble stone, incorporating distinctive red sandstone and white stone window frames.
Built around 1450 by the Lesbolières family from Masseret, the castle was later purchased in 1518 by the Beaupoil de Saint-Aulaire family from Brittany.
The castle represents fifteenth-century French military architecture with its rectangular layout and four defensive towers positioned at each corner.
The property maintains two public pathways crossing the estate, while the main buildings remain private and closed to general access.
The northern facade preserves small original window openings from the 1400s, contrasting with larger windows installed on opposite sides of the building.
