Manoir de la Fresnaye

The manoir is a stone residence featuring a prominent tower, Renaissance gallery, and multiple fireplaces throughout its rooms that date from different construction periods. The building retains much of its original medieval and later-period stonework and interior architectural elements.

The manor was built in the 14th century and remained standing through the Hundred Years War without major destruction. Successive modifications were added over the centuries, shaping its final form through the 19th century.

The interior decoration and layout reflect how local nobility lived and valued artistic elements during different periods. You can see how tastes and priorities changed through the rooms themselves.
