Manoir de Criquebœuf

The manor features a central timber-framed structure with two defensive square stone towers, containing fireplaces, arrow slits, and gun ports.

The building, originally located at Saint-Martin-de-Bienfaite-la-Cressonnière, was dismantled, restored, and reconstructed at its current location to prevent its collapse.

Russian-American actor Yul Brynner purchased the manor in the late 1960s and spent his final summer there in 1985, with some of his ashes scattered on the grounds.

The manor received official monument status on January 6, 2004, protecting its main residence, facades, and roofing as part of French historical heritage.

The structure includes superimposed chimneys visible on the gable and twin doors at each level, following architectural patterns from the late 16th century.
