Harpea's Cave, Natural cave in Estérençuby, France.

The cave structure reveals a convex folding of geological strata, forming a space measuring 50 meters long, 25 meters wide, and 10 meters high.

The limestone deposits within the cave date back to the Cretaceous period, approximately 100 million years ago, when the area was covered by a shallow sea.

The name derives from Basque language, meaning 'the place under the rock', reflecting the strong linguistic heritage of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region.

Visitors can access the cave through marked trails from Estérençuby village, with local tourism offices providing guidance and safety information for exploration.

The cave formation displays an anticline structure where the oldest rock layers occupy the central position, demonstrating complex geological processes of the Pyrenees.
