Errozate

Errozate reaches an elevation of 1,345 meters and forms part of the Pyrenean watershed, overlooking the Nive Valley in the French Basque Country.

The mountain stands as a natural boundary marker between territories that were historically divided during the Spanish conquest of Navarre between 1512 and 1524.

Hikers can access Errozate through marked trails starting from the village of Estérençuby, with the ascent requiring proper mountain equipment and weather monitoring.

The mountain slope includes a challenging cycling route stretching 10.9 kilometers with an average gradient of 9.2 percent to reach the Col d'Errozate.
