Sommet de Fleossier, Mountain summit in Hautes-Alpes, France.

The Sommet de Fleossier reaches an elevation of 1,248 meters and features grassy slopes leading to a panoramic viewpoint of surrounding mountain ranges.

Local shepherds of the Hautes-Alpes region have used the slopes of Sommet de Fleossier as summer pastures for their flocks through generations.

The restored hamlet of Les Damias, starting point for the summit trail, demonstrates the traditional mountain village architecture of the Hautes-Alpes region.

The hiking trail to the summit extends 9.9 kilometers with significant elevation gain, requiring approximately three and a half hours of walking time.

Two mountain passes mark the route to the summit: Col de Branche and Col Saint-Pierre, each providing different perspectives of Mont Ventoux.
