Centre européen du judaïsme, Jewish cultural center and synagogue in 17th arrondissement, France

The Centre européen du judaïsme stands at Place de Jérusalem, corner of rue de Courcelles and boulevard de Reims. Its facade has vertical light tan stone panels above and smooth pale gray stone below, with dark metal letters reading "CENTRE EUROPEEN DU JUDAISME" over the glass doors and a Star of David near the top left. Inside are the 430-seat Edmond J. Safra Synagogue and two towers of five and seven floors.

The project was conceived by Joël Mergui, president of the Israelite Central Consistory of France, and construction began in 2015 on a 1,650 m² plot made available by the City of Paris. The center was inaugurated on 29 October 2019 in the presence of President Emmanuel Macron. It stands at Place de Jérusalem, on the site where the Romanès gypsy circus had pitched its caravans and tent until the early 2000s.

The cultural centre is named after Patrick and Lina Drahi and occupies 2,500 m² of the complex, with performance and exhibition halls spread over two buildings of five and seven floors. The synagogue honours Edmond J. Safra, a philanthropist whose foundation helped fund it. The centre stands on Place de Jérusalem, at the corner of rue de Courcelles and boulevard de Reims.
