Trestraou is a broad, crescent-shaped beach of pale tan sand in Perros-Guirec, on the northern Brittany coast. The sand forms a wide, gently sloping band, and the shoreline runs in a long, slightly irregular arc beside blue-green water. On the left the sand narrows into a smaller cove, and a wooded, built-up hillside rises in the distance behind the beach.

The beach began developing as a seaside destination in the late 1800s when early hotels were constructed and rail connections arrived. These developments transformed the area into a popular resort destination.

Trestraou takes its Breton name, Traezhenn Traezhtraou, from the local tongue spoken along this part of the northern Brittany coast. The wide pale-tan sand, visible in a long arc against blue-green water, is where bathers and walkers spread out at low tide. A wooded, built-up hillside rises behind the beach.
