Habitation Céron, Historical plantation in Le Prêcheur, France.

Habitation Céron is a former plantation estate in Martinique featuring extensive gardens, cacao groves, and paths along the river. The property contains a large garden area with native plants and trails through natural woodland.

The estate was founded in 1658 during French colonization and initially produced sugar, cacao, and manioc. Industrial operations came to an end in 1939 due to economic shifts.

The estate demonstrates traditional farming methods still visible through its cacao production today. Visitors can observe how local techniques remain part of the daily work on the land.

The property is accessible via paths that lead through gardens and wooded areas, so comfortable walking shoes are helpful. Visitors should allow time to explore the different sections of the estate at a relaxed pace.

A Zamana tree over 350 years old stands on the property and was recognized in 2016 as France's most beautiful tree. This massive specimen ranks among Europe's most outstanding natural monuments.
