Château de la Chasseigne, Medieval château in Saint-Parize-le-Châtel, France.
The château features two round towers connected by an arched gallery, with solid stone walls and a grand oak staircase in the entrance hall.
Built in the 15th century by Robert de la Chasseigne, the estate passed to the de Montrichard family in 1789 through marriage to Count Gabriel-Étienne.
The grand salon contains neo-classical wall paneling and houses a Maison Pleyel piano, while the family chapel displays detailed stained glass windows.
The château requires substantial renovation work on its roof, plumbing, and masonry systems due to years of abandonment since 2017.
In 2020, four individuals formed the Companions of the Château de la Chasseigne organization to preserve and renovate the deteriorating master bedroom.
