Manor d'Eyrignac

The Manoir d'Eyrignac features geometric gardens with over 300 plant sculptures, including yew, boxwood, hornbeam, and cypress trees spread across 50,000 square meters of grounds.

The 17th-century manor house received its gardens in the 18th century, followed by an English-style transformation in the 19th century and restoration to French design in 1960.

Six permanent gardeners maintain the extensive topiary collection, preserving traditional French garden design techniques through detailed plant shaping and pattern creation.

The gardens welcome visitors every day, with extended hours from May to September between 09:00 and 19:00, and reduced hours during winter months.

Seven natural springs supply water to the hilltop gardens, which have remained under the ownership of the same family for more than five centuries.
