Moulin Jaune

Moulin Jaune is a mill building on the banks of the Grand Morin river, now used as a creative workspace. The surrounding gardens are divided into separate sections, each with its own color scheme and purpose for work or rest.

The building sat empty for about two decades before being transformed in 2001. The renovation preserved the original architecture while introducing new creative functions.

The site serves as a working space where artists and artisans gather to collaborate on projects together. Elements from circus arts, theater, and garden design shape the daily life here.

The site is open to visitors from April to October on specific days, accessible by car, RER train, or SNCF TGV from Paris. Plan for a half-day visit and wear comfortable shoes for walking through the gardens.

Each room inside the building displays different design influences inspired by travels around the world. Artistic installations made from natural materials like chestnut wood shape the interior throughout.
