The commercial complex spans ten floors across 50,500 square meters, making it the largest department store in Northern Europe by retail space.
Architect Sigurd Frosterus designed this Nordic Art Deco building in 1930, following the original architects' loss during the Finnish Civil War.
The main entrance clock, known locally as Stockan kello, functions as a central gathering location for Helsinki residents meeting in the city center.
The store provides tax-free shopping assistance, visitor discount vouchers, and multilingual staff services at the dedicated Service Point on the eighth floor.
The basement level houses Stockmann Delicatessen, which maintains an extensive selection of international and Finnish food products under one roof.
