Östersundom church

The yellow wooden church stands along Porvoontie road at an elevation of 11 meters, featuring traditional Finnish ecclesiastical architecture from the 1750s.

Initially established as a prayer house in the 17th century, the current church building was constructed in 1754 to serve the local community.
