Hollola

Hollola is a municipality in western Päijänne Tavastia that spreads across an area containing numerous lakes and protected natural spaces. Lake Vesijärvi dominates the landscape as the largest water body here.

The region shows evidence of human settlement from the Stone Age and developed as a community over many centuries. Its formal establishment as a municipality came in 1865 within Finland's administrative system.
