Joutsensilta, Road bridge in Limingantulli, Oulu, Finland.
The Joutsensilta bridge stretches 560 meters across the Pohjanmaa railway and Oulu freight yard, connecting the Limingantulli and Nokela districts.
Built between 1995 and 1996, this steel composite and plate bridge structure required 1,430 tons of steel and 8,100 cubic meters of concrete.
The bridge design by Timo Rantakokko incorporates different geometric shapes while spanning over two buildings and multiple railway tracks.
The bridge deck measures 14.5 meters in width and covers 9,544 square meters, accommodating both vehicular traffic and pedestrian paths.
Upon completion in 1996, Joutsensilta ranked as Finland's fourth longest bridge and maintains its position as the country's longest ground bridge.
