Laukko Manor, Manor estate in Vesilahti, Finland
Laukko Manor is a red-painted estate building on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi in Vesilahti, about 40 kilometers south of Tampere. The property covers six hectares with gardens, park paths, and views of open water.
The property was first recorded in documents from 1416 and belonged to Finnish noble families for centuries. It later became a center for agricultural development in the region.
The name comes from medieval records and reflects its long connection to Finnish noble families. Visitors now come to see art exhibitions or attend concerts in the park during the summer months.
The estate is open to visitors from June through August and offers both exhibitions and concerts. The lakeside location makes it easy to combine a visit with a walk through the park.
The current owner Liisa Lagerstam grew up here and opened her childhood home to the public in 2016. Since then the estate also offers meals for visitors who want to refresh themselves after events.
