The former Military Archives features red brick walls and stone details, standing as a three-story structure in central Helsinki's historical district.
The archive building, designed by architect August Boman in the 1890s, became part of Finland's National Archives system in 2008.
This building holds extensive military documentation since Finland's independence, including records from defense forces and various private organizations.
Visitors access the archives through an appointment system and can request materials through the National Archives' online service platform Astia.
Protected by Decree 480/85, the building contains over 210 kilometers of shelf space filled with military documents and historical records.
