Kričke

Kričke is a rural settlement in Šibenik-Knin County, Dalmatia, nestled between the Petrovo field and the Moseć mountain range. The landscape encompasses roughly 17 square kilometers and sits near the Čikola river valley.

During the Croatian War of Independence from 1991 to 1995, this settlement marked the southern boundary of the Republic of Serbian Krajina. That conflict left a lasting impact on the region.

Three churches shape the religious character of this place: the Roman Catholic Church of Queen of Peace, the Greek Catholic Church of Intercession, and an Orthodox Church. These different houses of worship reflect the religious diversity that has marked this community.

The settlement is accessible via the D56 state route, which connects it to surrounding areas and provides straightforward access. The terrain is hilly and rural, so visitors should prepare for uneven ground and countryside conditions.

With fewer than 200 residents spread across the entire territory, this place has one of the lowest population densities in the region. This sparse settlement creates an unusually quiet and empty landscape.
