Bović is a small settlement in Sisak-Moslavina County situated at about 200 meters elevation in central Croatia. The village spreads across hilly terrain surrounded by forests and agricultural land.
The settlement developed as a rural community in an area with long-standing human habitation in the Gvozd region. Over time it remained typical of smaller villages found across the inland Balkans.
The settlement maintains a multi-ethnic heritage, with census data from 1991 indicating a population composition of 97 percent Serbian residents.
The village connects to surrounding regions via the main road D6, ensuring basic accessibility. Postal services are handled through Vrginmost, which serves as the local distribution center.
According to the 2021 census data, Bović maintains a population density of 8.3 inhabitants per square kilometer across its territory.
