The Nikola Tesla Memorial Center spans 1.37 square kilometers and includes the inventor's birth house, experimental station, multimedia center, and outdoor exhibition spaces.
The center opened on July 10, 2006, marking Tesla's 150th birthday, after restoration from damage sustained during the Croatian War of Independence.
The memorial complex preserves Tesla's legacy through artifacts, documents, photographs, and prototypes of his inventions, including the induction motor and Tesla coil.
The facility operates with seasonal schedules and offers guided tours in multiple languages, with different admission rates for individuals, families, and groups.
Visitors can experience demonstrations of wireless electric energy transfer at the Tesla Experimental Station, which replicates the inventor's original experiments.
