The palace exhibits Baroque architecture with double U-shaped configuration, including eight wings, a riding hall, and a theater spread across multiple levels.

Count Antal Grassalkovich commissioned the construction of the palace in 1733, which later became the favored residence of Queen Elisabeth of Hungary.

The palace contains exhibitions displaying nineteenth-century Hungarian aristocratic life, including period furniture, decorative arts, and royal artifacts.

The palace complex includes parking for 60 cars, a tourist information center, and a 26-hectare English garden open for public visits.

The palace features the private chambers of Queen Elisabeth with original furnishings and personal items from the Habsburg period.
