Károlyi Mansion, Fehérvárcsurgó

The Károlyi Mansion is a 19th-century neo-classical building with 21 rooms set within a maintained park featuring gardens and walking paths. It now contains exhibition spaces, a restaurant, and conference facilities for visitors.

The mansion was built in 1844 as a summer residence for the Károlyi family and later underwent several renovations to preserve its architecture. In the 1990s it was converted into a cultural center with a new public purpose.

The foundation has shaped the purpose of this place as a center for art and music, drawing visitors who come to see exhibitions and listen to performances throughout the year. The role it plays today is quite different from its origins as a private family home.

The park is easy to access and provides parking for cars and buses, making a comfortable visit possible. The paths are well-maintained and there are rest areas where you can linger between activities.

The building holds a substantial library of around 12000 books gathered from various sources and preserving cultural heritage. Together with the symphonic orchestra, outdoor music performances take place that transform the grounds into a concert venue.
