The property transformed from Granby Hall to Baymount Castle before becoming Manresa House in 1948 when Archbishop McQuaid invited Jesuits to establish a retreat center.
The center provides spiritual direction programs, retreats, and educational courses based on the teachings of St Ignatius Loyola for people of different denominations.
The facility includes accommodation spaces, meeting rooms, and prayer areas, offering both in-person and online programs throughout the calendar year.
From 2006 to 2021, Manresa House hosted the European English-speaking Jesuit Tertianship, preparing members for their final vows in the Society of Jesus.
