Baron de Menashe Garden, Kfar Saba

Baron de Menashe Garden is a large green space in Kfar Saba that was developed with plants and trees sourced from numerous regions across the globe. The collection spans varied botanical types and creates different landscaped zones throughout the property.

Felix de Menashe, a Jewish philanthropist from Alexandria, acquired land north of Kfar Saba in 1934 to establish citrus cultivation. The property later expanded beyond its initial agricultural purpose.

The garden served as a gathering place for prominent leaders and cultural figures throughout the 20th century. Visitors can sense the historical importance of these meetings while walking through the different zones of the space.

The property lies west of Gan Hayim and north of the Aliyah housing complex, providing ample walking space for residents and visitors. Multiple zones are accessible on foot, allowing you to explore at your own pace.

During early Israeli defense operations, a hidden weapons cache and communications station concealed as a dovecote was located on the house roof. This feature reveals the property's connection to significant events beyond its role as a garden.
