Kefar Sava extends across the southern Plain of Sharon at 30 meters elevation, featuring residential neighborhoods and industrial zones across its territory.

The settlement started in 1903 as the first Jewish community in the southern Sharon region, preceding Tel Aviv's establishment by six years.

Early settlers planted eucalyptus trees throughout the area as a practical solution for draining the swamps that covered the territory.
