Hod HaSharon park

Hod HaSharon park is a large green space in the city that centers around an artificial lake surrounded by planted areas. Connected pathways link different zones where visitors can walk, cycle, or stop to observe the water and surrounding plantings.

The site was converted into a park in 2018 as part of the city's growth and development plans. This transformation brought recreational space to a previously undeveloped area within the expanding city.

The ecological park functions as an educational center where visitors learn about water treatment processes through designated learning stations and biological filtration systems.

The park has clear pathways for walking and cycling throughout, with rest areas and exercise equipment scattered in different zones. Wheelchair users can access most areas without difficulty, and picnic spots with tables are located at convenient points.

The artificial lake serves a hidden purpose as part of a water management system where treated wastewater is further cleaned through natural biological processes. Most visitors don't realize they are walking beside advanced water recycling in action as the system quietly upgrades water quality before it reaches local streams.
