Hod HaSharon park

The park spans 200 hectares, featuring Israel's largest ecological lake of 27 dunams with connecting bridges and observation decks for wildlife viewing.

Established in 2018, the park represents a substantial transformation of urban space into a natural recreation area within Hod HaSharon's expanding boundaries.

The ecological park functions as an educational center where visitors learn about water treatment processes through designated learning stations and biological filtration systems.

The park includes dedicated paths for cyclists and pedestrians, exercise equipment zones, picnic areas, and multiple facilities accessible to wheelchair users.

The green basins, covering 40 dunams, process water from treatment plants through biological upgrading systems before releasing it into the natural stream.
