Tsofit

Tsofit is a moshav set on elevated ground surrounded by cultivated fields and family homes. The settlement houses roughly 1,318 residents and provides schools and community facilities for those who live there.

The moshav was founded in 1933 when 50 pioneers settled on land purchased by the Jewish National Fund. This area was previously part of the Sharon Forest, which had once been covered with oak woodlands.

Life here blends farming work with modern professions, as residents balance both agricultural and non-farm occupations. Community gatherings and local events throughout the year weave together the social fabric of daily life.

The moshav has schools and community facilities available to residents and sits within easy reach of urban centers like Kfar Saba. Visitors will find good ground to explore, with the elevated position offering open views across the landscape.

The land was once covered with Mount Tabor Oak forests that stretched from Kfar Yona to Ra'anana before it was cleared for settlement. This natural woodland landscape defined the region for centuries before giving way to farming.
