Beit Amir, Residential house in Jerusalem, Israel
The Beit Amir building features seven floors with a distinctive design that incorporates both residential spaces and communal areas within its structure.
Architect David Resnick completed this residential building in 1961, following his immigration from Brazil to Israel and his experience working with Oscar Niemeyer.
The structure represents a fusion of Israeli architectural traditions with international modernist principles, reflecting the evolving identity of Jerusalem in the 1960s.
Located at coordinates 31.7757, 35.2178, the building maintains its original purpose as a residential complex while accommodating various community gatherings.
David Resnick incorporated elements from his agricultural experience at Kibbutz Ein Hashofet into the building's design, merging urban living with community-focused spaces.
