The Itzkovitch Synagogue operates multiple prayer halls within a large building at the intersection of Rabbi Akiva Street and HaRav Shach Street.
The synagogue originated when Zvi Itzkovitch designated a room in his house as a prayer space to prevent traffic on Shabbat in accordance with local laws.
Seven different prayer halls were designed to accommodate various Jewish traditions, including Chassidic, Litvish, Sephardic, and Yekke communities.
The synagogue conducts prayer services every ten minutes throughout the day, serving approximately 17,000 visitors daily across multiple prayer rooms.
Each prayer hall features distinct architectural elements tailored to specific Jewish traditions, such as U-shaped benches for Sephardic services and individual stands for Litvish congregants.
