Warren's Gate, Historic gate in Israel
Warren's Gate is an ancient gate located near the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
It dates back to the Herodian period and was once used to access the Temple Mount.
The gate is named after Charles Warren who discovered it in 1867.
Although not open to the public, Warren's Gate can be viewed during guided tours of the Western Wall Tunnels.
Warren's Gate is considered the closest of the ancient gates to the Holy of Holies.
