The Nation Leaders Park in Rishon LeZion combines open green spaces with walking paths, sculptures, and educational installations spread across the grounds. The layout mixes landscaped areas with exhibits arranged at different points throughout the site.

The garden was designed by architect Haim Cohenovitch as an open-air museum. In 2008 the Rishon LeZion Economic Company commissioned designer Raanan Kaspit to create stone panels recounting the lives of Israeli leaders, installed in an area called the Courtyard of the Leaders. The same year he designed the Gate of the Nations memorial wall and the 4.5-metre aluminium Pillar of Fire sculpture.

The installations and sculptures throughout this space tell stories of leadership figures and their role in shaping the nation. Walking through, you encounter these stories in a way that feels natural and accessible to visitors of all ages.

The site is accessible from Maryland Boulevard with multiple entry points to explore. Visitors will find picnic areas, play spaces, and various walking routes to experience the installations at their own pace.

Each section focuses on different historical figures, creating a learning experience that unfolds as you walk rather than within four walls. This scattered approach lets visitors discover stories gradually across the landscape.
