Manara cliff, Mountaintop amusement park in northern Israel.
Manara Cliff is a recreational park spread across multiple levels, spanning from 90 to 840 meters in elevation across the Galilee region. The site features climbing routes, zip-lines, mountain biking trails, and viewing areas at different heights.
The park opened in 1998, marking the introduction of Israel's longest cable car system. Three stations connect different elevation levels across the mountain.
Art installations throughout the site reference the natural landscape of the Galilee and the valleys below. Visitors encounter these works while moving through the space and gain a different perspective on the mountain region.
The park is best visited during daylight hours, as most activities require sunshine and views are clearest in good weather. Sturdy footwear is necessary for climbing and hiking on the hilly terrain.
From the top of the park, you can see into three countries on clear days, including the Golan Heights, the Lebanese valley, and beyond. This far-reaching perspective turns a visit into a geographical experience that places the region into a larger context.
