Kutladampatti Falls

Kutladampatti Falls is a waterfall in the Sirumalai Reserve Forest of Tamil Nadu, where water drops in two stages over approximately 27 meters. The two cascades form a natural feature within the forested reserve located in the Madurai region.

The falls came to wider public attention in the early 2000s through media coverage, which then drew increasing visitor numbers. This rising demand led to the establishment of bus connections from nearby stations in Madurai.

The surrounding Sirumalai Reserve Forest, managed by Tamil Nadu Forest Department, represents the natural heritage of the Madurai region.

You can reach the falls by bus from Periyar station in Madurai or from smaller stops like Vadipatti. The best time to visit is between September and February when the waterfall has consistent water flow.
