Qutb complex, UNESCO World Heritage Site in India
The Qutb Minar complex is a collection of monuments and buildings from the Delhi Sultanate at Mehrauli in Delhi, India.
Built in 1192 by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the first ruler of the Delhi Sultanate, the red sandstone tower of Qutb Minar is 72.5 meters high.
The complex has several other important structures such as the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, the first mosque built in India.
The Qutb Minar complex is open to visitors daily from sunrise to sunset.
Qutb Minar is the tallest brick minaret in the world.
