Grishneshwar temple, Hindu temple in Maharashtra, India
Grishneshwar Temple is an ancient pilgrimage site revered as the abode of one of the 12 Jyotirlinga manifestation of Lord Shiva.
The temple was re-constructed by Maloji Bhosale of Verul, grandfather of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the 16th century.
It is a significant site of Hindu religion and part of the annual pilgrimage circuit of four temples in Maharashtra.
The temple is located near Ellora Caves, approximately 30 kilometers from Aurangabad.
Grishneshwar Temple is known for its extraordinary architecture and sculptures.
