Falut rises to 3,595 meters and forms part of the Singalila Ridge, a mountain range that runs along the India-Nepal border. From this location, you can see several major Himalayan peaks that shape the skyline and demonstrate the geographic position of this area.

Getting here requires a multi-day trek starting from Manebhanjan through Singalila National Park, with basic shelter options available along the way. The hiking is demanding, so proper preparation and realistic pacing are important for a successful visit.

The summit area hosts rare Himalayan plants, including multiple species of rhododendrons that create a natural garden during the spring blooming season. This display of flowers is a special reason to visit during this time of year.
