The Pindari Glacier is a popular destination for trekking enthusiasts, located in the Kumaon Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India.
In 1830, Jeremy Pindari was noted to have visited this glacier hence its naming as Pindari Glacier.
Many local tribes view the Pindari Glacier as a sacred site and conduct annual pilgrimages to it.
The best time to visit is between April and October, before heavy snowfall sets in.
The glacier offers a breathtaking view of the Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot peaks and is over 3 kilometers long.
