Kirti Stambha, Victory tower in Chittorgarh Fort, India.
The Kirti Stambha rises 22 meters high with seven distinct levels adorned by detailed sculptures and ornamental moldings from foundation to summit.
A Jain merchant named Jijaji Bhagerwala commissioned the construction of this tower between 1179 and 1191 CE during Rawal Kumar Singh's reign.
The tower displays numerous figures of Thirthankaras, with Adinatha statues positioned in the cardinal directions on the ground floor level.
While internal access remains restricted, visitors can observe the tower's exterior architecture during their exploration of the Chittorgarh Fort complex.
Three separate inscriptions on the structure document its construction details and establish its connection to the Digambara sect of Jainism.
