Durgiana Temple, Hindu temple in Amritsar, India
The Durgiana Temple, also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, is a premier Hindu temple of Punjab in Northern India.
The present temple was built in 1921 and it was designed to resemble the Golden Temple of Amritsar.
It is a significant place of worship for the Hindu community in Punjab and is dedicated to Goddess Durga.
The temple complex has a sarovar (pool) of its own and is beautifully lit up during the night.
Despite being a Hindu temple, its architecture closely resembles that of Sikh temples.
