Satyagnana Sabha, Vadalur, Hindu temple in Vadalur, India

The Satyagnana Sabha features an octagonal structure with seven curtains concealing the sanctum sanctorum from the main meditation hall.

Ramalinga Swamigal, known as Vallalar, constructed this temple in 1872 as a center for spiritual teachings and humanitarian service.

The temple structure incorporates three sections representing cosmic elements: Chirchabai for the moon, Porchabai for the sun, and Gnana Sabha for wisdom.

The temple maintains specific entry requirements, welcoming vegetarian visitors who follow the path of non-violence and ethical conduct.

A sacred flame lit by Vallalar in 1867 continues to burn in the temple grounds, serving as the source for preparing daily meals for thousands.
