The Secretariat Building is a large and impressive edifice located in New Delhi, India.
Constructed in the 1910s, it was designed by the British architect Herbert Baker.
The building's design reflects both Mughal and European architectural styles, symbolizing a fusion of Indian and Western cultures.
Today, it serves as the administrative headquarters for the Government of India.
It is part of the 'Lutyens' Delhi', named after the leading British architect Edwin Lutyens who was responsible for much of the architectural design and building when India was part of the British Empire.
