Kesari Wada, Historical mansion in Narayan Peth, Pune, India.
The three-story Kesari Wada features large wooden entrance doors adorned with lion carvings and contains a museum displaying independence movement artifacts.
In 1905, independence leader Bal Gangadhar Tilak acquired this residence from Prince Sayajirao Gaikwad and established the Kesari and Maratha newspapers.
The building includes Lokmanya Sabhagriha hall, which holds cultural programs and gatherings during the annual Ganesh festival celebrations.
The museum and library open daily from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00, offering free admission to all visitors.
The museum exhibits the first Indian national flag unfurled by Madam Cama, along with Tilak's personal items and a replica of his Mandalay Jail cell.
