Saint Sarkis Cathedral, Armenian cathedral in District 6, Tehran, Iran
The white twin-spired Saint Sarkis Cathedral features a conical dome, raised minarets, and marble exterior walls within an enclosed courtyard space.
The Sarkisian brothers funded the cathedral's construction between 1964 and 1970 to honor their parents and serve the growing Armenian population in Tehran.
The cathedral includes a memorial monument with three stone pieces and hosts religious ceremonies for the Iranian Armenian community throughout the year.
